Miniature Landscape Enameling Painting

Create a small 1.5 inch landscape painting using several different painting enamels. Techniques demonstrating brush, and knife style painting will be taught.

You will leave this workshop with a finished piece enclosed in a sterling silver pinch bail.

Enameling with Foils with Averill Shepps

October 6-8, 2018

This workshop will deal with copper, silver, and gold in various thicknesses. Students will learn to layer them onto pre-enameled surfaces while adding transparent enamels for maximum depth. Proper techniques for tooling and firing each of the foils will be emphasized.

This is an ideal workshop for students who have had some experience with enameling but want to expand their knowledge.
